Fall colors come to life as the rain and fog roll in on a typical blustery day in Shenandoah. This was taken in the late afternoon as the fog rolled in and the rain really started to get heavy. The rocks were extremely slippery. Even though it was raining - the water levels were very low, which worked perfectly for this particular image.
This is so beautiful!
Beautifull shot, wonderfully composed and exposed! Very nice!
Thanks so much. I really appreciate it. It looks awesome in the middle too!
Thanks everyone. I very much appreciate it!
I love these autumnal waterfalls. There is something very peaceful about places like this. The exposure time is perfect, not too long, just a little movement in the trees too. A lovely contrast between the smooth, ghostly effect of the water and the sharpness of the rocks and leaves. Great shot.
Very beautiful! I love the composition
That is a beautiful scene!!!
Fantastic how alive this picture is! Excellent job.
lovely and very much like our woods here in N/W Maine fantastic image
I love the big brown swirling woosh in the foreground.
I like how you captured the restless nature of the water. This photograph moves as it stands still.
